Gravity Flow 3.0 isn’t just a feature update – it’s a full quality-of-life upgrade. Based on your feedback, we’ve streamlined the experience for everyone, from small teams with simple approvals to enterprise sites running hundreds of workflows.
Lightning-fast performance with AJAX
Speed is the most noticeable improvement. With new AJAX-powered user search, large sites load faster and selecting assignees is now instant. Type three characters, and matching users appear immediately – searchable by name, WordPress role, or email.
You can also customize the AJAX behavior with filters to adjust thresholds or turn the feature on/off.
Smarter conditional routing with repeaters
Conditional routing now uses a modern repeater interface, making complex rules easier to view and manage. Each rule expands into a clean, full-width row, and AJAX search is built right in for fast assignee selection.
You’ll find this same interface across multiple step types, including Approval, User Input, Notifications, and Gravity Flow PDF steps.

Quickly jump between steps without opening new tabs.
Bulk Step Controls
Activate, deactivate, duplicate, or delete steps in batches – perfect for scaling workflows or testing new setups.
Developer-focused: New V2 API endpoints
Gravity Flow 3.0 introduces nearly a dozen new V2 API endpoints for seamless integrations and automation. Use them to:
- Control workflows (send entries to steps, cancel, or restart)
- Process webhooks and create entries programmatically
- Retrieve detailed step data
While V1 isn’t deprecated, new projects should use the updated V2 API for full functionality.
